The American Heart Association (AHA) BLS course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform high-quality CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.

Course Content Includes:

  • High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
  • Use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
  • Effective ventilation using a barrier device, pocket mask, and bag-valve-mask
  • Team dynamics and communication in a resuscitation scenario
  • Relief of choking (foreign-body airway obstruction)

Certification:
Upon successful completion, participants will receive an AHA BLS Provider eCard, valid for 2 years.

Who Should Take This Course:
Doctors, nurses, EMTs, paramedics, first responders, medical students, dental professionals, and any other healthcare providers or individuals who practice in a clinical setting.

Course Length: Approximately 3.5 to 4 hours (depending on class size and experience)
