If your certification has lapsed\, you are required to compelte an initial course. \n\nThe American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course builds on the foundation of Basic Life Support (BLS)\, emphasizing the recognition and management of cardiopulmonary arrest\, acute arrhythmias\, stroke\, and acute coronary syndromes. The course highlights effective team dynamics\, advanced interventions\, and decision-making skills needed in critical situations. \nCourse Content Includes: \n\nHigh-quality CPR and early defibrillation\nAirway management (basic and advanced)\nRecognition and treatment of cardiac arrest rhythms (VF/pulseless VT\, PEA\, asystole)\nManagement of bradycardia and tachycardia with and without a pulse\nPharmacology for cardiovascular emergencies\nEffective team communication during resuscitation\nPost–cardiac arrest care\n\nCertification:\nUpon successful completion\, participants will receive an AHA ACLS Provider eCard\, valid for 2 years. \nWho Should Take This Course:\nDoctors\, nurses\, paramedics\, advanced EMTs\, physician assistants\, nurse practitioners\, respiratory therapists\, and other healthcare providers who manage or respond to cardiovascular emergencies. \nCourse Length: Approximately 6 hours (depending on class size and experience)
