DESCRIPTION:The American Heart Association (AHA) BLS course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform high-quality CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings. \nCourse Content Includes: \n\nHigh-quality CPR for adults\, children\, and infants\nUse of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)\nEffective ventilation using a barrier device\, pocket mask\, and bag-valve-mask\nTeam dynamics and communication in a resuscitation scenario\nRelief of choking (foreign-body airway obstruction)\n\nCertification:Upon successful completion\, participants will receive an AHA BLS Provider eCard\, valid for 2 years. \nWho Should Take This Course:Doctors\, nurses\, EMTs\, paramedics\, first responders\, medical students\, dental professionals\, and any other healthcare providers or individuals who practice in a clinical setting. \nCourse Length: Approximately 3.5 to 4 hours (depending on class size and experience)
