We developed this course to cut the fluff and provide you with the highest quality training that you can actually use.
This course is designed for members of the community who are willing to help when the time comes. An emphasis is placed on handling the needs of the ever-changing world we live in. Specifically, this course covers the following:
- Active Bystander Training
- Developed by the Committee of Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (CoTECC), this curriculum prepares students to respond in a potentially dangerous situation and do so safely. The focus is on mitigating danger and treating the most common preventable causes of death, such as massive bleeding and penetrating trauma
- CPR/AED
- In the United States, 1,000 people a day suffer from sudden cardiac arrest. Community members trained in CPR and AED use can help them come home.
- Opiate Overdose Response
- Safely and appropriately responding to a potential opiate overdose can save a loved one’s life.
- Medical Emergency Recognition
- Serious conditions such as strokes and heart attacks rely and early recognition for a patient to be brought to the hospital. Learn the signs so you can make the best decision for others.
- Emergency Equipment Familiarization
- Preparation is the name of the game when it comes to emergencies. Our team will make sure you know what you need to have on hand to respond effectively.
